Don't sound stupid, STOP saying I like
In a recent study in UK, in which 105 students between the ages of 18 to 43 years and 71 professionals between the ages of 22 to 76 years (120 women, 56 men) participated came to a conclusion that if the candidate overused the word “like” compared to “uh” or control, you are less likely to be hired.
This study examined the use of hesitations and discourse markers such as “uh” and “like,” sex of an interviewee, and professional or student participants on hiring decisions of job interviewees.
So if you having trouble getting a job? Maybe it’s how you use "like" when you talk.
How To Make Yourself Fire-Proof

Can A Placement Consultant Really Help You?
If you go by what they say, recruitment consultants are your only hope of finding good jobs. If you visit one, he can easily convince you to place your career in his hands, even pay a lot of money at times. At that moment one usually thinks, "If he can really get me a job.....", but can he? Should you really rely on placement consultants and trust them to do what is the best for your career?
Do You Really Need A Placement Consultant
Here are a few reasons why you DON'T really need a placement consultant to find a job:
Tips For Telephonic Interviews
These days, many companies (especially in the ITES sector) use the telephonic interview as a tool in the recruitment process. A telephonic interview involves a phone call in which the recruiter asks the candidate to answer a series of basic questions that help him/her in making a decision about the face-to-face interview. If you fail at the telephonic interview, that's it. It essentially means that you are out of the race and will definitely NOT be hired, or even interviewed. So though it may seem trivial, it really is a very important part of the whole recruitment process.
How To Recognize Your Talents

People who become famous have obviously recognized their talents and put them to good use.
But if you look around you and observe, you will find many people who are talented and gifted in their own ways. Someone is really good with words and talking. What a great salesguy would he make!
Do You Deserve Higher Salary?
Often people have a clear idea about what is a "decent salary" for them, and they work towards achieving that figure. It is a separate matter that the figure changes every time they get a raise, thereby making it impossible to be content. So we all continue to work towards achieving the salary and position that we think we should be getting. But do we really deserve it? Do YOU deserve what you want?
